What is the Process about?
- The United Nations Secretary-General convened the first-ever global humanitarian summit of this scale in Istanbul in 2016.
- The goal of this summit is to find new ways to tackle humanitarian needs in our fast-changing world.
- This three-year initiative was being managed by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) The summit will set a new agenda for global humanitarian action

How can you get involved?
The UN MGCY WHS Working Group is open to any individual until the age of 30 or any youth-led organization. You only need to register on the Registration Form and join our mailing group:
Deputy Organising Partners
Participation in each UN Process is facilitated through an external working group corresponding to that specific process.
The coordination of this work, including liaising with the relevant UN entity is carried out by Deputy Organising Partners (DOP). These are positions elected by the members of that specific working group, and may be member organisations or individuals nominated by member organisations.
